On Sunday December 8, 2013, the Pasadena-Altadena Links Inc. will host their Golden Anniversary Gala at the historic Langham Huntington Hotel celebrating 50 Years of Leadership and Service. The luncheon will feature greetings from Western Area Links Leadership, milestone dances from the 60’s through 2000s, delectable luncheon fare and mingling.
Vanessa Bell Calloway, an eight-time NAACP Image Award nominee for her critically acclaimed performances on stage, screen and television will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies.
“Our 50th Anniversary provides us with the opportunity to celebrate our award winning service programs such as the Links-Up for Success: Connecting Through Mentoring” which provides one-on-one mentoring and workshops for high school young ladies and their parents with an emphasis on scholarship. ” – stated Gala Co-Chairs Jacqueline Howard and Diane Scott.
