Webster's Fine Stationers celebrates Small Business Saturday with their holiday open house this Saturday, Nov. 30.
The festivities start at 11 AM and go on until 7 or 8 PM, with food, music, lots of merchandise from local artisans, and much more.
It will be bittersweet, though; Lori Webster says it will be the last holiday party at their current location -- the store has been given until mid-January to vacate by the building's new owners.
"Much fun is planned, with goodies galore, give-aways, a raffle, and a nostalgic look at Webster's through the years with Altadena Heritage," she says. The festivities include jazz renditions of Christmas standards by Norm Abejon; readings by local authors including Petrea Burchard and Anne Louise Bannon; face-painting for the young (or young at heart); lots of food, as well as giveaways, a raffle, and prizes.
Webster's Fine Stationers is at 2450 N. Lake Avenue.
