Webster's Community Pharmacy, 2450 N. Lake Avenue, is jumping into the holiday season with both feet with an open house at the store this Saturday, Nov. 23, from 2-7 PM.
Webster’s Pharmacy will introduce their newest holiday themes and invite shoppers to save 20% on all seasonal and gift purchases. In addition to the savings that day, free gift wrapping, personal shopping and other convenient services will be offered.
The pharmacy -- which has been part of Altadena since 1926 -- is collaborating with the Altadena Historical Society on a vintage photo gallery that will debut at the open house. "Since 1935, Altadena Historical Society has gathered, preserved and made available information about the people, places and events in Altadena," said historical society president Jane Brackman. "This is the first of periodic exhibits featuring historic photographs of our community including the Altadena airfield (1919), Echo Mountain in the snow (1900’s) and more.” s
The pharmacy will also hold several drawings throughout the open house for gift baskets -- and there is "a special recyclable surprise for everyone attending."
In addition, there will be a spread of holiday appetizers, snacks and a sampling of gourmet products available for sale. This year, Amy’s Patio Cafe of Altadena will create a dessert showcase for savvy shoppers.
