After a hiatus, we welcome back the Altadena Sheriff Station crime blotter! Lots of vehicle burglaries (and the return of 24 Hour Fitness), problems with controlled substances, and a robber in the closet.
Monday, November 11
10:03 AM - A petty theft occurred at Altadena Wireless, 2108 Fair Oaks Avenue. Subjects described as two male, Hispanic, juveniles. Loss: black iPhone 4S.
12:09 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 600 block of E. Athens Street. ***Vehicle was recovered by Pasadena PD***
1:50 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred at Ralph’s, 2270 Lake Avenue. Loss: black leather laptop case, gray HP laptop 17in.
Between 10:39 PM and 6:30 AM (Tuesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 300 block of W. Ventura Street.
Tuesday, November 12
Between 7:30 AM and 9:20 PM (Wednesday) – An attempt vehicle theft occurred in the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. Suspect(s) attempted to steal the vehicle by punching the door lock and ignition. Loss: currency (located inside the vehicle).
Between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred at the 24Hr. Fitness parking structure, 2180 Lincoln Avenue. Loss: black leather men’s wallet, currency, credit cards.
Between 9:45 PM and 7:15 AM (Wednesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 500 block of Alameda Street.
Thursday, November 14
4:45 PM – Gary Grissom, 59 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
5:22 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the area of Washington Boulevard. & Roosevelt Avenue. ***Vehicle Outstanding***
Friday, November 15
12:30 AM – Garth Nelson, 47 yrs, of Winnetka and Uriel Graciano, 25 yrs, of Pasadena were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, November 16
Between 9:00 AM and 3:44 AM (Sunday) – A residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of W. Figueroa Drive. Loss: game console, video games, watches.
8:06 PM – Kevrod Olden, 30 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for urinating in public.
Sunday, November 17
12:02 AM – Bryan Guiribitey, 38 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and driving on a suspended license.
Tuesday, November 19
Between 12:00 PM and 12:00 AM (Wednesday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 900 block of E. Poppyfields Drive. Loss: iPad.
12:30 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1900 block of N. Lake Avenue. ***Vehicle was recovered by CHP Baldwin Park***
Wednesday, November 20
3:30 PM – Rodolfo Montoya, 21 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Between 3:40 PM and 4:00 PM – A commercial burglary occurred at Walmart, 2408 Lincoln Avenue. Suspects described as two black females, 30-40 yrs, driving a silver Mercedes 2-dr. Loss: groceries.
Thursday, November 21
Between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2800 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. Loss: electronic equipment.
Friday, November 22
Between 12:00 AM and 12:00 AM (Wednesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 3100 block of La Corona Avenue.
Between 9:30 PM and 2:15 PM (Saturday) – A residential burglary occurred in the 1800 block of Grand Oaks Avenue. Loss: firearm.
Between 10:30 PM and 8:00 AM (Saturday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1800 block of Braeburn Street. Loss: cellphone charger, misc. coins.
11:43 PM – Larry Ingram, 51 yrs, of Pasadena was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.
Saturday, November 23
Between 3:15 PM and 9:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 2600 block of N. Lake Avenue. Loss: jewelry and currency.
Monday, November 25
Between 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM (Wednesday) – A grand theft occurred in the 2500 block of Windsor Avenue. Loss: A/C unit.
Wednesday, November 27
2:55 PM – Humberto Reynosa, 18 yrs, of Los Angeles, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.
8:00 PM – A petty theft occurred at All Star Liquor, 2421 Lincoln Avenue. Loss: beer, snacks.
11:20 PM – Kennon Hamilton, 48 yrs, of Pasadena was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, November 28
Between 8:00 AM and 8:00 AM (Friday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 500 block of Wapello Street. Loss: giro ball.
1:02 PM – Byron Carter, 41 yrs, of Lancaster was arrested for shoplifting at Rite Aid, 735 E. Altadena Drive,
3:21 PM – Joshua Muema, 18 yrs, of Altadena, was arrested for receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
6:34 PM – Damien Carter, 32 yrs, of Colton was arrested for possession of concentrated cannabis and driving on a suspended license.
7:40 PM – Rodolfo Salazar, 46 yrs, of Los Angeles was arrested for public intoxication.
8:09 PM – A residential robbery occurred in the 2400 block of Highland Avenue. Suspect described as a male, Hispanic, 20 yrs, 6 ft. 3 ins., slim build, wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, dark jeans. Suspect was hiding inside the closet when he was confronted by the victim. The suspect demanded money and began ransacking the residence. Suspect fled the residence in an unknown direction. Loss: blue LG flip phone and cordless phone.
Friday, November 29th
9:41 PM – Erika Robinson, 46 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Saturday, November 30th
11:53 PM – Kenneth Kennedy, 61 yrs, of Altadena was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
