The Altadena Crest Trail Restoration Working Group (ACTRWG) meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm Tuesday evening, Jan. 14 at the Altadena Community Center (730 E. Altadena Drive across from Rite Aid and next to the Altadena Sheriffs Station). Please pass this information on to neighborhood listserves and those who might be interested, since the ACTRWG listserve remains down due to technical difficulties. We are only able to reach some of you through old e-mail CCs, sign-up sheet info. or through the Chaney Trail Neighborhood listserve.
There are several important trail-related topics we will be discussing, including:
-- Dept. of Public Works Draft EIR for excavating Hahamongna Watershed Park basin and blocking trails. See additional info. below.
-- Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (ACONA) traffic discussions recommending "No Parking" zones in the vicinity of ACT trailheads.
-- SCE destruction of 3 acres northwest of the top of Chaney Trail (including portion of La Vina Open Space / Access issues)
-- Public Access to Millard Canyon Trail (former Corbett land, current AFC property)
-- Bench Dedication on ACT above Cobb Estate: Thank You to Dr. Kwang-hee Park and Jochen Strack
