It's potential bankruptcy day here on Altadenablog!
The Lincoln Crossing development at Lincoln and Woodbury is also in deep trouble, according to PSN reports. The developer, Dorn Platz, just got hammered with a default notice from Los Angeles County, claiming that Dorn Platz has gathered a collection of attachments and creditor actions and "the potential exists for a judicial foreclosure action against the property."
Right now, residential tenants at the development are paying rent into a Sheriff's Department fund as part of a lawsuit brought by a concrete contractor who claimed they weren't getting paid by Dorn Platz. Dorn Platz has 30 days to respond to the county's notice. This is in addition to the developer's latest woes with Ambassador West. Stay tuned.
