LA Times' website has this story about an unnamed Altadena man, about 60, who was injured when a Gold Line train crashed into a gold Geo Prizm on the tracks near the Del Mar station -- apparently the car got past the crossing gates somehow. (We didn't see the crash, but did see the aftermath as we were taking Spawns 1-3 to lunch). No passengers on the train were hurt, and just heard a radio report that says the vicitim is in serious condition.
