The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept., Altadena Station, and the Altadena Sheriff's Community Advisory Committee (CAC) have announced that translation services will be available at the Parenting Forum on Jan. 27 at the Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr., 7-9 PM.
The Forum will help provide parenting information and identify resources available in the Altadena community.
In addition to a presentation by LASD’S Special Victims Bureau, there will be a panel consisting of parents and children in the PUSD. Guests include Shirlee Smith, author of “About Parenting,” Mr. Elliot Gold, representatives from Pasadena Unified School District, “Parent Project,” and “National Alliance on Mental Illness” will be present to discuss issues facing today’s families.
