As of Tuesday noon, the LA County Office of Emergency Management as deactivated its Station Fire Emergency Operations Center, transitioning out deputies and winding down fire activities.
A planned burn from an area east of Mt. Wilson, from Mt. Waterman to Cogswell Reservoir, started Wednesday (yesterday), and was visible from the Mt. Wilson towercam last night (you can still see smoke this morning, and we could smell it in East Altadena).
And there will be a memorial for firefighers Tedmond Hall and Arnaldo Quinones at Dodger Stadium at 10 AM Saturday (click graphic for details).
UPDATE 10 AM: The staff at Mt. Wilson Observatory took these pictures of their new moonscape at Angeles Crest Highway during a grocery run to La Canada last Sunday.
