Altadena CHP office investigates freeway dismemberment

Here's a little something cheerful to start your day: LA Times reports that the local California Highway Patrol office is investigating a woman's dismembered body found on the southbound 5 near Laurel Canyon. Apparently she died in an unknown manner and was possibly torn to pieces by multiple vehicles that ran over her.  She has been identified, altho' her identity has not been made public.
