This was yesterday afternoon's early bird member's only opening of the Friends of the Altadena Library's annual book sale. The sale is going on today and tomorrow, with lots of books, and pick up a Friends of the Library membership if you can.
The county hazardous materials roundup was also going on this morning, at 232 W. Mountain View Ave, and will continue thru 3 PM this afternoon.
While we were out on our rounds, we ran into County Animal Control vs. sick skunk in the road.

It's a busy day -- Odyssey Charter School was also having its annual pancake breakfast/rummage sale/book sale fundraiser, and of course it's JPL Open House weekend. Get out and do something!
