Altadena Town Councilwoman Alice Wessen tells us about some exciting developments in town:
- The restaurant site at 2555 Lake Ave., at the corner of Lake and Altadena, now has a sign that says "Patron's Mexican Restaurant coming soon."
- Aveson Charter School, which is looking at taking over the unfinished building at 575 W. Altadena Dr. as a potential school site (which you read about here) is also looking at offering "one or two campus-based, teacher-managed businesses that will be open to the public," such as a coffee house, yogurt and smoothie stand, or "dinners to go" place.
- 2329 N. Fair Oaks, the Altadena Ale House, has new ownership: Juda and Gail Casburn, Altadena residents who were also the former owners of Lucky Baldwin's in Pasadena.
