Real snow in Altadena? Absolutely!
For the second year (and hopefully not rained out this time), the merchants of North Lake Ave. are holding their North (Lake) Pole Celebration on Sat., Dec. 4, at Galloway Alley (just north of Mariposa on Lake).
There will be food and live music at this family-friendly event, many vendors, and some businesses will remain open. Danny's Farm will bring some of their animals for a petting zoo, and the Gallery at the End of the World will be in the midst of its final Art Bender, a last chance to experience this Altadena institution before it closes forever.
And yes, there will be real (albeit manufactured) snow on the slope at Galloway Alley, just right for sledding. Get your holiday started just right on North Lake.
