- It's all about Christmas Tree Lane today. The Altadena Library, 600 E. Mariposa, will be the site of the Lane's Art and Crafts Festival, starting at 2 PM. At 6, join us for the 90th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, an Altadena tradition with music, warm drinks, and lots of entertainment, followed by a walk down the lane. Santa Rosa will be closed at 4 PM to allow pedestrian traffic, so get there early for a good place to park.
- Local artists Susanna Dadd, Doris Finch, and James Griffith invite you to fill those Christmas stockings with jewelry, fiber art, and paintings from their open studio sale at 918 E. Altadena Dr. on Sat., Dec. 11, from 10 AM - 5 PM.
- Cynthia Null plays a combination of traditional songs, folk, and rock on her mandolin and fiddle at 3-5 PM at Scissors/Paper/Rock Salon, 1864 N. Allen. Free. Also, from now until Dec. 18, donate a new and unwrapped gift for a woman or child (age to 18) and receive 20% off all product purchases.
- Final day to contribute to the Sheriff's Holiday Food and Toy Drive, at the Altadena Sheriff Station, 780 E. Altadena Dr.
