The Altadena Sheriff Station will be hosting its first annual blood drive on Tues., April 12, at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr., from 9 AM-3 PM.
According to Deputy Lamark Williams, who is one o fthe organizers of the blood drive, "It's something we want to do as a community project to help those who are needy. It's a humanitarian event, it promotes goodwill, and it's something we want to do ... one of my goals when we got here was to get involved in as many community events as possible."
This event is a partnership with Huntington Memorial Hospital of Pasadena.
