  Catching up: Vernon Fisher, 38, of Altadena, has been named as a second suspect in the slaying of Pasadenan Donnell Taylor in January. Steven Wright, 32, also of Altadena, is already in custody for the murder.  All involved were members of the Altadena Block Crips gang.  Brian Charles at PSN files the story.
• The LA County Sheriffs have designated Sat., April 30 as "Prescription Drug Take-Back Day."  Take the opportunity to rid your home of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.    Last year, the sheriffs collected and safely disposed of nearly eight tons of prescription medications, nearly 3 1/2 tons of syringes, and over five pounds of illicit drugs.  The sheriffs have "Safe Drug Drop-Off" boxes available 24/7 at various locations,  the nearest one at the Crescenta Valley station, 4554 N. Briggs Ave, La Crescenta.
• E-waste event at Willard School, 301 S. Madre St., Pasadena, on Sat., April 30 from 8 AM to noon.  Looking for computer monitors, TVs, computers, laptops, servers telephone equipent, PDAs, iPods, gaming stystems, fax machine copiers,  calculators, printers, uninterruptible power suppies, cables, telephones, scanners, radio/stereo/DVD/VCR players, etc.  No batteries of any kind or appliances.
