The top performers at the Coffee Gallery coffeehouse showed up for a benefit performance last night at Altadena Community Church. The benefit was to collect enough money for the coffeehouse to pay the onerous county entertainment license fee.

Donna Barnes Roberts started out by attending the open mic nights as an audience member -- now she writes and performs her own songs (with Thorin accompanying).
Tony and Jimmy Licata rocked it old school with the Everly Brothers' "Wake Up Little Susie."
The performer called Mr. McZeal brings the blues to the Altadena Community Church auditorium.
