We've had lots of emails regarding the sheriff helicopter flying around the 300 block of Anna Maria between 2 and 3 AM this morning. The excitement included the airborne helicopter deputy ordering someone to peacefully leave a house.
According to Altadena Sheriff Station Lt. Joseph Dempsey, there was a call from a resident about a burglary in progress in their home. After getting no response, deputies entered the house. Upon investigation, the sheriffs figured that the the resident was alarmed by the sound of a framed picture falling off the wall.
