As we wrap up the American Cancer Society's Altadena Relay for Life 2011, online chair Heather Morrow tells us that, at last count, they'd raised $28,000, and were still looking toward meeting their relay goal of $35,000 by the Aug. 31 deadline.
Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, instructor and service coordinator, of the Arroyo Pacific Academy, says that her students raised over $4,000 of the monies so far in their Blue and Silver teams.
