We received this note from LaTanya Anthony about the recent fundraiser for the Marcus Jones burial, and directed at all those who helped out:
This is just a small note to show my appreciation, and to say thank you for all you have done. Because of you and the Christ the Shepherd Church, the Altadena community showed their support to our Aunt Sheila, and gave $568.00, to assist her with the funeral services for her son Marcus Jones.
The outpouring of love and care really touched my heart, and was a true enforcer that Altadena is a community that truly supports its own. The money raised was used to assist with his burial at Mtn. View Cemetery, and was just was she needed to pay the remaining balance.
On behalf of Sheila Jones, and all of the friends of Marcus Jones, again I say thank you. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks for ensuring our friend is resting peacefully with Jesus.
