Just a last-minute plug for the Club 21 "Together is Better" Walk-a-Thon, to be held Sun., Oct. 30.
Club 21 is a Pasadena-based organization that supports Down Syndrome children and their families, and the walk-a-thon is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
The festivities start at 8:30 AM at Central Park in Pasadena, with the walk starting at 10 AM. Award-winning musician Melissa Green will perform in concert at noon, and the Pie and Burger food truck will be there.
100% of the proceeds will to to benefit Club 21 Learning and Resource Center.
