Truman, one of our still-missing dogs, is still missing, but we have a picture now and some description from his owners:
TRUMAN is a 7 month old pitbull. He is beige in color (actually called champagne blue) with white chest and white paws. He also has yellow/green eyes. He was hiking in Eaton Canyon Thurs., 12-22, at around 8 AM. He was bitten by another dog and he bolted. He does have a black collar on that has a name tag and telephone number, but the tag has the name Parker on it. His name is Truman. Correct phone number but wrong name. He is friendly, but he was bitten, bolted, and has been missing 30+ hours so he is probably scared.
If you are in the Eaton Canyon or Altadena areas (or know of anyone that is) please, please keep on the lookout.
If you have any information you can call 323-258-7257 or 310-704-6803.
There is a reward offered.
Also, while a bit out our of our area, we're passing this along as well -- someone may have dognapped a Christmas present:
I live in Pasadena, near La Loma. My neighbor saw a woman carrying our dog; my neighbor was not familiar with the woman and believes that she was driving a car. Thus, I have no way of knowing where she lives! We've contacted shelters and canvassed our neighborhood, but we're stuck.
