A fundraiser for the Pasadena LitFest was held at the community room of the Mountain View Mausoleum Sunday.
Pasadena LitFest will be held March 17 at Central Park in Pasadena, with panels and events for all ages to meet authors and encourage a love for literature.

Besides some meeting, greeting, and eating at the beginning, the attendees were later entertained by performances of Shakespeare from students from the Westridge and Alverno schools, and a performance by the Marshall Fundamental High School Choir.
Pasadena Star News' public editor Larry Wilson also attended.
Altadena author Jervey Tervalon holds forth with some of the young people who attended.
