Hooty the owl has returned to the Meadows.
The original owl sign on lower Canyon Crest (whose slogan "Give a hoot, don't pollute") was the creation of Meadows resident Jane Szabo. It was destroyed last November by a rock-wielding vandal, but Todd and Jane Szabo sent us this message Sunday morning:
Hooty's back where he belongs!
The new sign I made to replace the old one that was damaged by vandals over Thanksgiving weekend was installed this morning.
Wow, don't we have a beautiful Canyon. Hooty is on the back of the Smokey sign on lower Canyon Crest.
