The National Weather Service has put a wind advisory in effect until 3 PM Sunday:
* winds and timing... northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph will develop this evening and persist through most of
Sunday. The winds will be strongest below passes and canyons and in the foothills.
* Impacts... gusty cross winds will create hazards for motorists on area roadways... especially those driving high-profile
vehicles. Highways likely impacted by gusty Santa Ana winds will be interstates 10 and 210... and Highway 39.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
A red flag warning is also in effect for the forest, due to the possibility of dry wind, so be careful!
