In conjunction with the non-profit organization Kids Reading to Succeed, the Villa-Parke Community Center offers a free monthly reading assistance program for children in grades 1-6. One-on-one tutoring is available the first Saturday of each month from 8:50 to 11 a.m.
The Saturday Reading Program is intended to help children improve their reading skills and, in the process, develop a love of reading.
Parents are asked to try to sign up their children at least one week in advance of each Saturday program, although drop-ins are welcome.
To register or for more information visit Villa-Parke Community Center at 363 E. Villa St., or call (626) 744-6530.
