In a timely meeting in the light of the killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida, retired Oakland police chief Anthony Batts will address the issue of how young men, especially African American men, can safely relate to law enforcement. The presentation will be at the Altadena Seventh Day Adventist Church at 2609 N. Lincoln Ave., at 6:30 PM.
