Pasadena detectives arrested a 24-year-old Chino man in the shooting of an Altadena man early Saturday.
Vernon Woods faces a charge of attempted murder for shooting Deontrae Lutton, 20, of Altadena Saturday at about 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Summit Avenue.
Lutton continues to be listed in critical condition from the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained in the shooting. Witnesses and other information led authorities to Woods, said Pasadena Lt. Phlunte Riddle.
