Rodney King, whose 1991 beating (and subsequent acquittal of the officers who beat him) sparked the LA riots of 1992, died in the swimming pool of his Rialto home Sunday night. King, an Altadena resident at the time of the beating, was a key figure in recent Los Angeles history, and we've got a roundup of some of the news and commentary.
