From left, Joan Bowdoin, Curves owner Rose West, and Kim Watkins celebrate the fourth anniversary (plus one month) of Altadena Curves at a party Aug. 23. West says that they currently have 178 members who enjoy the equipment, the stretching circuit, Zumba, and soon yoga. Curves is also planning a "Not for Sissies Event" Sept. 15 which will involve a walk from the facility at Lake and Mariposa to New York Drive and back, with details to come.
