Space shuttle Endeavour will take a scenic route through Los Angeles on Friday, passing over some of the region's most popular landmarks.
The shuttle is scheduled to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport around 11 a.m. Friday. But before it lands, it will fly over Disneyland, Griffith Observatory, the Getty and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, according to a JPL spokesman.
JPL is not planning any special viewing event for the occasion, but employees are slated to watch the skies as it passes over the NASA center sometime between 10 and 11 AM
