Deputies arrested a man in Pasadena Thursday night, discovering marijuana and multiple stolen tiems in his apartment, according to a release from the sheriff's department.
Deputies detained Christopher Calloway, 21, of Pasadena on Thursday night, December 12, on the 100 block of West Washington Boulevard in the city of Pasadena. According to the press release, a search warrant was obtained and they discovered items inside the apartment that were identified as stolen. The items included laptop computers, a flat screen television, several handguns, collectible U.S. currency and "a large amount of marijuana."
Calloway was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and posession of marijuna for sale. He is being held on $20,000 bail, and is scheduled for arraignment in Pasadena Superior Court on Tuesday.
According to the press release, the arrest was made by the sheriff's Special Enforcement Bureau and Community Oriented Policing Services deputies, who are conducting saturation patrols in around Altadena. The release says that "The Altadena Station has requested and been using additional Sheriff's Department resources to assist in crime suppression. "
