The Board of Supervisors has approved a $4.1 million project to construct new street lights in east Altadena.
The Layton Vista Ara Street Lighting Improvements Phase 2 project is scheduled to start in June, 2013, to be completed within 60 working days, or September, 2013, according to the project approved by the supervisors Tuesday.
Bids will be open on the project March 12. Streets to be improved include:
- Meadowbrook Road, Sinaloa Avenue to Midlothian Drive
- Allen Avenue, Meadowbrook Road to New York Drive
- Sinaloa Avenue, Meadowbrook Road to New York Drive
- Sinaloa Avenue, Elizabeth Street to Washington Boulevard
- Midlothian Drive, Meadowbrook Road to New York Drive
- Minoru Drive, Meadowbrook Road to New York Drive
- La Paz Road, Sinaloa Avenue to Allen Avenue
- Vistillas Road, Sinaloa Avenue to Allen Avenue
- Sonoma Drive, Sinaloa Avenue to Allen Avenue
- Morada Place, Sinaloa Avenue to Allen Avenue
- New York Drive, Sinaloa Avenue to Midlothian Drive
- Oxford Avenue, Elizabeth Street to Washington Boulevard
- Dominion Avenue, Elizabeth Street to Washington Boulevard
- Elizabeth Street, Oxford Avenue to Allen Avenue
- Beverly Drive, Oxford Avenue to Allen Avenue
