A Pasadena resident is being held on $345,000 bond following an investigation into an Altadena burglary and identity theft case.
Aqualina Jaime, 28, of Pasadena, was charged with 14 felony counts on Tuesday, April 9. According to the district attorney's office, sheriff's detectives were alerted when an Altadena resident reported several unauthorized high dollar credit card transactions on January 31, 2013.
A press release from the Altadena Sheriff's station says that Jaime gained access to the victim's credit card accounts and fraudulently obtained thousands of dollars in cash advances.
The press release says that detectives searched a location on March 11 and two other locations on April 9. Jaime was arrested on April 4 for for burglary, identity theft, and grand theft.
According to the Altadena Sheriff's Station, the suspect made several purchases at stores in Pasadena, Duarte, and Los Angeles.
