The East Altadena Little League's Challenger Angels team -- a team for children with special needs -- held its big game Sunday against EALL's senior Angels team. As every year, the seniors apparently lost all ability to play baseball, meaning the Challengers had a chance to hit, run, score, and field and feel the sweet feeling of victory.
Special thanks to the senior Angels for ensuring the little ones had a good time, and to all the coaches who commited their spring afternoons to teaching and being mentors to these children. Wait 'til next year.
