Tonight, Tuesday, is early voting for the Altadena Town Council election. Voting will take place at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr., from 5-9 PM.
Regular voting will take place Saturday, June 8, from 9 AM-3 PM at different locations. Check out our election page for more details.
Also: election chair Eric Pierce said that volunteers are desparetely needed to staff polling places Saturday. Volunteer slots are available in two-hour increments, and a sign-up sheet, slot availability, map of the polling sites and a volunteer tutorial video can be viewed at AltadenaElection.org
Pierce writes: "This year has the most candidate activity in recent history, but ironically, the Election Committee is preparing to cancel half of the polling sites due to not having enough volunteers to staff them. Help save this opportunity for the people to elect their Town Council representatives by putting in a couple of hours this Saturday!"
