The Pasadena Police Department has put out a warning about a wave of burglaries between August 1 thru August 21 at several homes between lake Avenue and Martello Avenue, north of Orange Grove Boulevard.
According to a statement from the department, on one occasion two black males were seen. Both are between the ages of 20 and 30; one was 5’8”, thin, wearing a light colored “Harvard” t-shirt. The other was 5’10, thin, wearing a red t-shirt and olive cargo shorts. On another occasion, a female Hispanic or Armenian in her 20’s with black hair in a ponytail was seen taking a recently delivered package from a front porch. She got into a red 4-door vehicle with black and yellow dealer paper plates, which was driven by a male.
The statement said that "Most of the burglaries have occurred during the day and early evening hours. Some have occurred within 2-3 hours of the victim leaving their residence. The suspects are possibly in the area watching and waiting for the victims to leave and then enter the residences."
