It was a bad day for finding dead bodies Sunday.
In addition to the man who was torched in Altadena Sunday morning, a hiker found a badly-decomposed body in heavy brush at Hahamongna Watershed Park that afternoon, according to Phlunte Riddle of the Pasadena Police Department.
The Pasadena police were notified at about 4 PM Sunday. Riddle said that, other than being male, the body was otherwise unidentifiable and is with the coroner for the identification and determine a cause of death.
The Pasadena police also found the body of what appeared to be a homeless man Sunday morning on the 900 block of North Hudson Avenue. The man appeared to be about 45 years old and the coroner is conducting an investigation, according to a story in the Pasadena Sun.
