Packets will soon be available for residents to run for seats on the Altadena Town Council, with the election set for June 8.
According to Rick Keaton of the election committee, packets should be available by Thursday, April 18, at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Drive. Completed packets should be delivered to the Altadena Community Center no later than 5 PM May 17. There will also be a candidate forum at the Altadena Town Council meeting on May 21.
There is one seat up for election in each of the eight census tracts in Altadena. Town Council members serve two-year terms.
