Phoebe Snow singing "Poetry Man" -- forgive some Boomer indulgence!
from the Altadena Library District
This April as National Poetry Month offers lots of poetry events to choose from. Three programs will be sponsored by the Friends of the Altadena Library including two poetry workshops (April 20 and 23) plus the annual Poetry and Cookies Celebration (April 27). These events are in turn part of the month-long San Gabriel Valley Poetry Festival.

The reading is hosted by Rina Rose and Mary Torregrossa inside the backroom of the Santa Catalina Branch of the Pasadena Public Library on 999 East Washington Blvd. So dust off that poem you have hidden in your drawer and get ready to read, write or listen to some great poetry.
